Every Arkansas LLC and corporation must name a registered agent with a street address in Arkansas. The best registered agents in Arkansas in 2026 are Mainstay Filing, AR Registered Agent.org and Arkansas Registered Agent.co; this page covers what the state requires of whichever agent you choose.

- Who can serve
- An Arkansas resident or a business entity serving as a noncommercial registered agent, or a commercial registered agent listed with the Arkansas Secretary of State.

Changing your registered agent
File the Notice of Change of Registered Agent Information (form DO-3 for LLCs) with the Arkansas Secretary of State. The state fee is $0.
The annual filing
Arkansas LLCs file the Annual LLC Franchise Tax Report, a flat $150, due May 1 each year. Filing late adds a $25 penalty plus interest.
Which agent to pick
Mainstay Filing is our top pick at $149 a year, the same at renewal, for one provider in every state. AR Registered Agent.org and Arkansas Registered Agent.co are $99 a year for Arkansas alone. See the full 2026 ranking.
